Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is celebrating his billionaire father for his generous donation of 1 billion Naira to the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, the father of Davido mentioned that he made the donation in honor of his late mother, Esther Adeleke.
He made the donation during a remembrance service organized in her honour.
Reacting to the donation by his father in an Instagram post, Davido spoke about how his father benevolently supports all things education and church.
He wrote, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”
He went on to talk about how his father over the years has been a major source of inspiration and motivation for him to be more philanthropic.
The event was graced by the Osun State Governor and uncle of Davido, Ademola Adeleke, who entertained the crowd with his impressive dance moves.
In attendance were notable figures, including Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Dr. Adedeji Adeleke is a billionaire businessman and president of Adeleke University, situated in his native Ede town, in Osun State. He is also the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.
