Nigeria's afrobeats superstar and calm down hitmaker Rema has revealed in an interview he had on a London hiphop radio station Capital Xtra that he once worked at a bar beach in Ghana and that was his first job experience.
The interview was a past interview that has resurfaced online.
According to Rema, he had to man up and start working early in his life because of the death of his brother and dad, a terrible thing the singer had to endure at an early stage of his life.
He also mentioned that things were had for him at that time and he had no choice than to work hard.
In the interview he said:
"At some point, things got hard, and I had to man up. My past life has the
same effect on my present life. I had to work hard because I lost my brother and I lost my dad, and I was the only one; things were left to me. I had to put things in place. So, I had to work hard; I did all sorts of things".
"I worked at a beach bar; that was my first job in Ghana,"
Rema made all these revelations of these life experiences on a Capital Xtra interview.
