Agya Koo walks out during live performance over chants from NDC supporters

In a video making the rounds, Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo walked out of a show he was performing at after he heard chants from a section of the crowd, presumably NDC supporters.

Known for supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the legendary Kumawood Ghanaian actor, abruptly ended his performance at a funeral when he heard someone chanting their support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its presidential candidate for the upcoming polls, John Mahama.

Normally, he would go on with his show over things like this, but it does appear he had enough, as the person chanting their support for the NDC and Mahama, was apparently not enjoying Agya Koo’s show but rather focusing on unrelated issues.

Having had enough, Agya Koo stopped his performance to address the section of the crowd shouting in support of John Mahama.

According to the actor, most of the people on the team performing at the funeral are NDC members, but because they are all tolerant, they have agreed to work together. He sees no need for anyone in the crowd to do that.

“This lady used to be a teacher in the Central Region, but now she is an organiser in the NPP. The drummers you see here are also members of the NDC, but we are all doing one work and on the same team because we are all tolerant and are all Ghanaians,” Agya Koo pointed out.

The election is still months away, and Agya Koo feels the person should not have done that, asking, angrily “Why all the noise and chants? Would elections be held today? Are we voting today?”
