Nigerian superstar "Wizkid" announce a new album project.
Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and couple of his church friends formed.
The singer made this announcement on 30th of August 2022, on his verified twitter page where he posted a picture of a small girl holding a microphone and he caption it "New album!😎" as shown below:
A lot can be expected from the upcoming album because he can actually put big artists on his album without any struggle. He was featured by big artists in the world such as Beyoncè, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, etc.
His recent "made in Lagos" album was everywhere in the world. So his fans are expecting a lot of big features in the upcoming album.
Wizkid has been consistent in the Nigerian music industry for more than a decade now. He signed onto Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009.
According to Banky W, the deal was a five year deal but Wizkid did only two Solo albums and after that wanted to leave which he actually did.
The Starboy now has his own record label called the Starboy Entertainment. He is mostly being compared to his colleagues like: Davido, and Burnaboy in the Nigerian music industry.
His fans who called their self "Wizkid FC" can't wait for the album to be released.
