West Ham Vs Tottenham possible predictions

West Ham defender Declean Rice attributed their breakthrough 1-0 victory at Aston Villa to the relentless positivity of the traveling Hammers fans. They will now need their faithful to get right behind them with two difficult games in four (4) days against Tottenham and Chelsea to make or break their first thirty (30) days of the 22/23.

Much of West Ham’s malaise during the back of the last season- the lowlight of which five (5) losses in nine (9) Premier League matches that saw them squander a chance to register their best top flight finish in nearly two decades was attributed to their inability to juggle both domestic and European duties. After booking their place in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage beginning in September, we are about to learn what the head coach David Moyes has put in place to avoid repeat.

Tottenham are likely to be a bit fresh having only played Premier League football ahead of their own busy period of six games in 18 days. Their recent performance- winning away Nottingham Forest (2-0) a fortnight after West Ham failed to do so (0-1)- is the most recent indicator of a current gulf in class between these two clubs.

Now Tottenham are undefeated in ten (10) consecutive league fixtures (W7, D3) with all but one of those seven wins preceded by a halftime lead, there is a little wonder that manager Antonio Conté was happy to describe his players as “mentally tough” after winning at Nottingham. He stressed that there was plenty room for improvement though, and they can start with their lackluster recent H2H records against West Ham, standing at W7, D2, L5 in all competitions since May 2017.

Harry Kane and Michail Antonio are players to be watch as both striker look very threatening.
