Oleksandr Usyk is a 35 years old Ukrainian professional boxer. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the unified WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles since defeating Anthony Joshua in 2021; and the undisputed cruiseweight title from 2018 to 2019 being the first cruiseweight champion to hold all four major world titles.
Anthony Joshua on the other hand is a 32 years old British and Nigerian professional boxer. He is a two- time former unified World heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles between 2016 and 2021. He also at regional level held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2015 to 2016.
The two champions clash on Saturday 20th August 2022 and fought for 24 good rounds before the winner has been announced.
It was a good fight to watch since the two are champions, Anthony Joshua fought well on the night but Usyk was too good to be beaten. Oleksandr Usyk was announced winner after 24 rounds.
Anthony Joshua at a point lost his temper after loosing his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk and reacted angrily by throwing two belts out of the ring. Oleksandr Usyk on the other hand fight back the tears as he took a split- decision win over Anthony Joshua.
This will be the second time Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua.
