Manchester United are really close to signing Antony! Ajax finally accepted to negotiate on the fee and add-ons structure to reach €100m. Talks will continue later today.
No full agreement in place yet but United feel they’re finally close.Antony, pushing to leave.
The Ajax winger, recently came out to share his dissatisfaction with his club. The winger said he let the club know since February that he will leave the club once a good offer comes, But the club said his offer came in late. So they will have less time to find his replacement.
He was asked how his negotiation for his transfer going?
And this is what he said "Since February of this
year, my agents came to Amsterdam to inform
Ajax of my desire to leave the club to face new
challenge and that some interested clubs would arrive and with them, certainly a great offer".
He was asked again that “What happened with Ajax?
He said "In June of this year, I interrupted my vacation and came personally to inform the managers of Ajax, including new coach, about my wish to leave and that they should consider this
possibility, because it was a project for 2 seasons".
He was ask Why Ajax don't want to let him go?
He said "I'm not asking Ajax to release me, I'm asking Ajax to sell me with the highest bid ever for Eredivisie player. I've been insisting on this theme since February so that the club could rebuild the team with peace of mind".
He was asked how he feel about the club?
He said : "I was very happy in Amsterdam, I won titles at Ajax, made friends and built part of my career, but now I REINFORCE that I am ready and full of motivation to follow my story and my dreams".
The player is now on the verge of coming to Manchester United, the only club in his club now.
