FULL TIME: Arsenal Beat Crystal Palace On The Opening Day of The 2022/23 Premier League Season

The Premier League kicked off on friday with the first game being between Arsenal and Crystal at Selhurst. 

The Premier League was missed as fans were excited to see the new 22/23 season began on a friday night.

Arsenal trashed crystal palace by 2 goals to 1 (2:0). Goals being scored in both halfs. 

Arsenal were playing away while crystal palace play on their home  ground.

Arsenal starting lineup were Ramsdael, Ben white, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Saka, Xhaka, Partey, Martineli, Odegard, And Jesus. While Crystal Palace started with Guaita, Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Schlupp, Doucoure, Ayew, Eze, Zara, Edouard.

Crystal Palace in the second half substituted Mateta with Edouard, Milivojevic with Doucoure, Ebiowei with Eze, Hughes with schlupp. 

Arsenal in the late second half substituted Zinchenko with Tierney, Jesus with Nketiah, and Odegard with Lokonga.

Gabriel Martineli had a chance in the early first half to put Arsenal on the lead but played it wide. Arsenal dominated the first half and scored with a corner kick. 

Second half was quiet tough for Arsenal after Ramsdael saves them several times from the dangers of Edouard and Wilfred Zaha. 

Arsenal manage the pressure and got another goal from the second half. It was an own goal scored by Guehi but was a great and dangerous cross from Bukayo Saka.

The Budweiser man of the match was given to Arsenal William Saliba who did an incredible job at the defense.

Goal scorers are: Gabriel Martineli assisted by Zinchenko and an own goal scored by Guehi from a dangerous cross from Arsenal Bukayo Saka.
